그에 의하면 현지시간 오늘 AstraZeneca랑 그 회사 백신 관련 논의 협의를 했지만 AZ에서 백신 효능과 관련한 확실성을 설명하지 못했다 한다. 이는 그간 흘러나온 이 백신에 대한 우려와 궤를 같이한다. 심지어 물뽕이란 소문도 있다.
백신 배포에 대한 상세한 계획과 언제쯤 EU회원국들에 백신을 배달할런지를 AZ에 요청하고 다음 회의를 진행키로 했단다. 결국 AZ가 확실한 무엇도 약속하지 못했단 뜻이다.

결국 효능 문제보단 물량인 듯 한데 당초 약속한 것보다 물량이 훨씬 적을 것이란다. 최근엔 인도 공장인가서 화재까지 났으니 최악이다.
문젠 우리가 초반기엔 화이자 모더나 제껴놓고 AZ백신에다 몰빵했다는 사실이다.
우리 정부가 백만명분을 2월중에 AZ백신을 들여온다고 한 걸로 기억하지만 돌아가는 양상을 보면 점점 암울하다.
덧붙여 EU에 AZ백신 효율에 대해 계속 비판이 있다는 점도 주시해야 한다.

유럽 들어가는것도 당초 공급계획보다 절반 이상 못한다는 이야기다.
2월에 AZ 백만명 분 한국 도입..어려울거라고 보는 이유다.
한국공장이 있어 문제가 없다지만 무책임한 말이다. 한국에서 생산한다고 한국정부가 맘대로 할 수 있는 일은 없다. 한국공장은 하청업체에 지나지 않는다.
